MY APPROACH TOWARDS reinvention

Shared objectives

My experience convinced me that coaching and innovation share the same goal of helping people craft innovative solutions in the face of tension or uncertainty.

Intersection of three levers

My approach to reinvention explores the three levers that coaching and innovation have in common.

Letting possibilities emerge

Read what is already there — stakes, networks, invisible resources — and build on favorable dynamics. In uncertain terrain, exploring lets you act more opportunely, with less effort.

Acting from what is truly yours

Revisit your journey to turn trials into strengths, clarify your values, align thought, feeling, and aspirations — and rebuild the narrative that lets you reinvent yourself.

Shifting The System

Your impact depends on what flows between you and others. Break out of “more of the same” through a subtle shift in the rules of the game. Develop the signals of trust that enable the emergence of innovation.

Letting possibilities emerge

Rather than imposing a plan through sheer willpower, we learn to read what is already there: the stakes, the networks, the invisible resources.

We build on the favorable dynamics already at work. In uncertain terrain, exploring beats charging ahead. The point is not to act faster or harder, but more opportunely — by first spotting the natural propensity of things.

Starting from your means and treating the unexpected as a resource lets you move forward when the initial goal seems out of reach. Small steps, and noticing how signals connect, bring forth a sense of meaning that justifies and encourages action.

Acting from what is truly yours

AuthorsRichard Barrett, Carl Rogers, Michael White; Dan P. McAdams

Every situation is decoded by a unique individual, and no two people see the same footholds.

Our work will use your singular reading of your experiences as a resource: revisiting your journey to turn trials into strengths, clarifying the values silently guiding your choices, and aligning what you think, what you feel, and what you aspire to, so your action gains impact.

Strength is not about having a single identity, but about knowing how to inhabit several — and rebuilding together the narrative that lets you reinvent yourself in full coherence.

Shifting the system

AuthorsPaul Watzlawick, Gregory Bateson, Amy Edmondson; Nagarjuna

A decision-maker rarely acts alone: your impact depends on what flows between you and others — and causality often runs in circles.

What locks a system in place rarely comes from a lack of effort, but from the same attempted solution repeated over and over. The way out lies in a subtle shift in the rules of the game, to avoid “more of the same.”

The lever also moves from what you decide to what you make possible — by developing the signals of trust that allow others to speak frankly, to propose, to disagree — without ever excusing you from setting a direction, and sometimes owning its discomfort.

Hold your course!

Today, uncertainty is no longer just technological, economic, or geopolitical. It challenges business models, professions, and organizations. The acceleration of change is forcing us to reshape our identities, to rebuild meaning for our organizations, and to reinvent the ways we lead.
“I spend so much time arbitrating short-term trade-offs that I can no longer look ahead, with my team, to where we are going.”
“I’m stepping into a role on short notice, expected to succeed where my two predecessors failed.”
“We have to roll out AI at full speed, but my teams don’t really understand why. They fear for their jobs.”
